In July, I posted about how we studied deserts, and it all started with a cactus!
I even included some deserts around the world 3 part cards, which I am mightly proud of... they are still one of my favorite printables that I've made, as they show the deserts from space on each particular continent. (If you look carefully, there is a mistake on the lower left card... it was corrected; I just didn't update the photo.)
In September, I mentioned this awesome desk, and showed how I made it into Montessori-style workboxes. We still use these, but I do see a day in the near future when I'm going to have to revamp them.
In October, I started to get presentations of materials by my son -- to me, this signifies that my son understands the material. You can see the math game I spontaneous came up with here (with a self-prompted presentation from him at the end), followed by him presenting me the math counters here.
In November, I went a little art-crazy, after being inspired by the Chihuly exhibit.
Finally, in December, while we were reviewing the Nativity story, my son decided that even aliens needed to learn about Jesus.
Hope you enjoy these old posts!

What great posts! I'm glad you re-posted some scenes from them because I didn;t get to see them the first time around :-)
